01 Who is our customer?
Landowners (including families, investors, indigenous groups, and government) in the
Amazon RainForest are our main customers. Carbon buyers are anxiously seeking a credible carbon trading solution based on the Amazon Rainforest that can be used in an
easy and secure platform.
02 What is the customer problem and opportunity?
There are many conservation efforts that – even combined – do not move the needle.
Providing an easy to access solution to landowners of all sizes and types in the Amazon Rainforest with a significant payment as consequence of accurately measured conservation efforts will represent a game change in the Carbon Trade market.
03 How do you know what customers need and want?
Amazon landowners suffer from basic financial needs unmet, many relying on government programs insufficient to make a difference. Small and mid-size family farms, indigenous groups, and even larger farmers are unable to properly conduct and scale their agricultural projects due to the lack of financial resources to buy necessary machinery and supplies. This reality calls for unsafe land preparation methods involving fires that often go out of control and destroy large areas of the rainforest. A solution that would supplement landowners’ income making it impossible for them to produce and provide for their families and communities safely has not been provided so far. We know that from first-hand experience in the Amazon Rainforest as founders with families still living in the Rainforest.
04 Is the most important benefit clear?
The most important benefit is cash in the landowners’ hands. Landowners will learn in
minutes after registration what will be their upside for conserving forests on their lands.
05 What does the customer experience look like?
Easy to use with an intuitive interface and immediate feedback of the payments to be obtained through conservation. There will be itinerary educational support to help illiterate landowners enroll, answer all landowners’ questions and optimize user experience and land conservation.
